TRWD Diverse Business Specialist Crystal Alba has been named as one of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber’s “50 Emerging Latino Leaders”.
Crystal, who has been at TRWD since 2018, is responsible for helping minority, women-owned and small businesses identify potential opportunities to work with TRWD. She also assists potential vendors with bidding documents that are needed as part of the procurement process.
“Crystal’s leadership, service and dedication to the community, serves as a model to many,” said Sandy Newby, TRWD’s Chief Financial Officer. “She is a great asset to TRWD, living our mission of enriching communities and improving the quality of life, every day.”
With more than 17 years of experience in public and non-profit organizations, she is also involved in numerous community organizations and sits on the executive board of the North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency as Vice-Chair. She also serves on the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber Board of Directors. Crystal is also an alumni of Leadership ISD and Leadership of Fort Worth, and has chaired the Hispanic Women’s Network and has sat on numerous planning committees for events with non-profit organizations.
