TRWD’s Accounting Department Awarded Third Consecutive Year

In August 2018, Tarrant Regional Water District was awarded The Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for fiscal year 2017 by Government Finance Officers Association. This is the third year that TRWD has received this Certificate, which is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management. An Award of Financial Reporting Achievement has been awarded to the Finance Department of TRWD as the primarily responsible department for preparing the award-winning CAFR.
