TRWD Fall Trash Bash dates set

TRWD will host four litter cleanups this fall aimed at removing trash and debris from the areas along the Clear and West Forks of the Trinity River in Fort Worth, as well as Eagle Mountain Lake, Cedar Creek Lake and Cobb Park.

The Trinity River Trash Bash will be held on Saturday, September 21 and feature nine cleanup locations along the Clear and West Forks of the river throughout Fort Worth.  Participants can pick up trash anytime between 8 to 10 a.m., and then attend a volunteer after-party from 10 a.m. to noon at Coyote Drive-In, located at 223 NE Fourth Street in Fort Worth.

The Cobb Park Trash Bash will also take place on Sept. 21 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. with an after-party scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon at 2700 Cobb Park Dr W in Fort Worth.

The Eagle Mountain Trash Bash will be held on September 7 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. An after-party will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at Twin Points Park.

The Cedar Creek Trash Bash will be held on September 28 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. around the lake.  TRWD will also host a volunteer after-party at Tom Finley Park in Gun Barrel City from 10 a.m. to noon.
