Horseback Riding on the Trinity Trails

The Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo is here, which means more cowboys and horses are in town. Remember the Trinity Trails are equestrian-friendly, and with more 72 miles it’s the perfect place to giddy up! Here are a few quick tips to make your riding more enjoyable:

  • Please keep your horses on the grass and off the trails.
  • The river is still higher than normal in some locations. Use extreme caution on all low-water crossings.
  • Some trailheads are better suited for horse trailer parking.

Try parking your trailer at one of these locations: Hogsett Trailhead, Meandering Road Trailhead and Riverside Trailhead South). You can still ride the trails with Fort Worth Stockyards Stables and Horseback Riding. Happy Riding!
