TRWD continues to monitor reservoir conditions 24 hours a day. Current reservoir conditions are provided below. Currently, Eagle Mountain, Cedar Creek, and Richland-Chambers are making flood discharges. Any additional updates to flood discharges will be posted here.
Lake Worth is closed as of Monday, March 16 at 6:30 p.m. The official notification is provided on the City of Fort Worth’s website.
Overnight rainfall totals can be seen in Graphic-1, below. For the third time in 7 days, the area between Bridgeport and Eagle Mountain received heavy rainfall, see Graphic-2 for 7-day rainfall totals. This rainfall is generating runoff that will be flowing into Eagle Mountain Lake today and tomorrow. TRWD continues to monitor reservoir inflows and will make discharge adjustments accordingly. The National Weather Service (NWS) is calling additional rainfall tonight before a small break from the wet pattern (Graphic-3). Please continue to follow the NWS and the River Forecast Center (RFC) for the latest information regarding the weather and river conditions, respectively.
