TRWD continues to monitor reservoir conditions 24 hours a day. Current reservoir conditions are provided below. Currently, Eagle Mountain and Richland-Chambers are making flood discharges. Eagle Mountain gates are closed; however, a small discharge continues at the overflow spillway. Any additional updates to flood discharges will be posted here.
Rain chances begin this evening; however, the bulk of the rainfall is expected Tuesday night into Wednesday. The latest National Weather Service (NWS) rainfall depth guidance can be seen in Graphic-1, below. The swath of heavier rainfall has shifted north to include the I-20 and I-30 corridor. Bridgeport and Eagle Mountain are in the 1 to 2 inch area and Cedar Creek and Richland-Chambers are in the 2 to 3 inch area. Please continue to follow the NWS and the River Forecast Center (RFC) for the latest information regarding the weather and river conditions, respectively.
Please be advised that forecasts and projections are subject to change, and TRWD reservoir operations are based on observed rainfall conditions. The next update will come tomorrow morning, unless conditions dictate otherwise. Please check back.
