Bottom Line
Lake levels continue to rise. The Bridgeport and Eagle Mountain watersheds received an additional one to two inches of rain this morning. The same system has moved east to the Cedar Creek and Richland-Chambers watersheds. Rain totals through noon are shown in Graphic 1 below.
Projections
Bridgeport: Lake levels have risen over six feet since the weekend and could climb an additional two feet in the next 48 hours. It is becoming more likely that the lake will reach conservation pool level (836 ft-msl). The latest thinking is sometime Monday, but this can change based on many factors. There have been several calls to the Flood Line regarding releasing water from Bridgeport. Typically, the release of water for flood purposes does not begin until the pool is at or above elevation 836, with timing and amount dependent on conditions upstream and downstream of the lake.
Eagle Mountain: Lake levels have risen over a foot since the weekend and could increase by another foot within the next 48 hours.
Richland-Chambers and Cedar Creek: Both lakes are near conservation level, and reservoir staff are monitoring conditions due to additional rain in the forecast.

Looking Forward
More showers are possible tomorrow and Saturday, with depths expected to be less than today. Sunday and Monday are looking to be mostly dry. The next round of heavy rain could develop next Tuesday. See NWS Guidance in Graphic 2.
