Bottom Line
Overnight rain has added more water to Bridgeport and Eagle Mountain, which continue to rise due to runoff from the heavy weekend rainfall. Graphic-1 is a map showing the overnight rain totals.
Projections
Bridgeport: Lake levels have risen 5.7 feet since the weekend and could climb an additional 1.5 feet in the next 48 hours. It is uncertain if the lake will fill completely, but it remains a possibility.
Eagle Mountain: Lake levels have risen about six inches since the weekend and could increase by another ten inches within the next 48 hours.
Richland-Chambers and Cedar Creek: Both lakes are near conservation level, and reservoir staff are monitoring conditions due to additional rain in the forecast.
*Projections are subject to change and are based on past precipitation.
Looking Forward
Thunderstorms are expected to continue throughout the week. See NWS Guidance in Graphic-2.

Graphic 2)
Unsettled weather will continue through the week with scattered showers and thunderstorms each afternoon. Predicting exact locations and timing will be difficult until the day before. Expect hit-or-miss storms, with some areas getting rain while others stay dry. While the severe risk is low, isolated strong storms with potential for strong winds and large hail can’t be ruled out.
