TRWD continues to monitor reservoir conditions 24 hours a day. TRWD watersheds received rainfall beginning Tuesday evening and moving out last night (see Graphic-1 below). Cedar Creek and Richland-Chambers Reservoirs received very heavy rainfall, and lake levels have increased steadily. Cedar Creek is currently above conservation and discharges were initiated this morning. It is unknown at this time if Richland-Chambers will require flood discharges. Bridgeport and Eagle Mountain are not expected to fill due to the rain. Additional updates to lake status and flood discharges will be posted here.
Please be advised that forecasts and projections are subject to change, and TRWD reservoir operations are based on observed rainfall conditions. Updates to this blog will be made periodically as warranted.
