Position Summary:
The Facility Maintenance Technician I (Part-Time) is responsible for maintaining and upkeep water district grounds, buildings, and structures.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

- Performs tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and other general maintenance on TRWD buildings, structures, and grounds
- Transporting materials and equipment for maintenance projects
- Perform data entry for work orders and time-keeping
- Assist with office layout changes and cleanings
- Uphold safety standards and maintains a clean work environment
- Interact and coordinate with other TRWD personnel
- Report maintenance or structural issues to immediate department supervisor
- Maintain familiarity with strategic District levels of service
- Continuous improvement monitoring and innovation efforts
- Perform other duties as required
Required Experience:
- Less than one (1) year of experience in facility maintenance or related field
Desired Experience:
- One (1) year of experience in facility maintenance or related field
Required Education/Certification/License:
- Valid Texas driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED
