TRWD staff continues to monitor conditions in the TRWD reservoir watersheds. Rainfall continues across the TRWD watersheds, see Graphic-1 for 48-hour rainfall totals. Rainfall is expected to begin tapering off later this evening, see National Weather Service (NWS) guidance in Graphic-2.
Discharges continue at Richland-Chambers and were initiated yesterday at Cedar Creek. There is also a small amount of discharge over the Eagle Mountain spillway, but there are no gates or valves open currently. There is no discharge at Bridgeport at this time. Reservoir levels and inflows will continue to be monitored and discharges adjusted accordingly to maintain the reservoirs at a safe operating level with consideration to downstream conditions.
Current conditions at TRWD reservoirs are shown below. TRWD staff will be monitoring conditions 24 hours a day. Please be advised that forecasts are subject to change and TRWD reservoir operations are based on observed rainfall conditions. Additional updates will be provided here if conditions dictate, please check back.
