Eagle Mountain Park

Where the Prairie Meets the Timbers

Eagle Mountain Park is a scenic 400-acre park located on the northwest side of Eagle Mountain Lake. This location features more than 5 miles of trails perfect for hiking, walking and running. While some sections are more challenging than others, most of the trail system is family-friendly.

The majority of the park has been left untouched, allowing visitors to experience native animals and plants in their natural environment. There are also several structures at this location that are remnants of past generations who lived and worked on the property.

Special Thanks

Eagle Mountain Park was made possible through generous donations from TRWD, Tarrant County, TXU Energy, the AT&T Foundation, City of Fort Worth, the Bass Foundation, the Amon Carter Foundation, Chesapeake Energy, the general public and anonymous donors.
