Was your New Year’s resolution to make this year your healthiest year yet? Whether you want to lose weight, have more quality time with family, unplug or just spend more time outside, our system of trails and parks are a great way to accomplish your goals.
Trinity Trails
The Trinity Trails span over 72 miles throughout Fort Worth. Most of the trail system is flat and paved, which makes it perfect for inexperienced users and experts alike. And with miles of trails that branch out through the city, you’re never too far away from an access point. Speaking of access points, we created a new interactive map of the Trinity Trails so no matter where you are you can always find the easiest way to get on the trails. Check it out!
Marine Creek Lake
The newest addition to our recreation system is the 6-mile loop trail around Marine Creek Lake. The paved trail has scenic views of the lake, a boardwalk and a beautiful natural environment, which makes it the perfect place to go for a walk, run or bike ride. The lake is also a no-wake lake, making it a great place for open-water swimming.
Eagle Mountain Park
Located less than 20 miles northwest of downtown Fort Worth, Eagle Mountain Park offers 450 acres of serenity and nearly 6 miles of natural hiking trails. It’s a perfect place to unplug, enjoy nature, birdwatch, hike, walk or jog.
