Fort Worth's Fourth

Make plans now to celebrate our nation’s independence on and along the Trinity River at Fort Worth’s Fourth! The family-friendly festival will take place July 4 at Panther Island Pavilion. As always, general admission is free along with tubing and the entire TRWD Kid Zone. A favorite addition from last year, the event will bring back the option for event patrons to experience the festival in style with VIP tickets. VIP tickets are on sale now and amenities include prime fireworks and water show views, reserved seating, a shaded lounge area, private bathrooms and a cash bar, VIP parking and more.

The free TRWD Kid Zone will include pony rides, face painting, bounce houses, interactive exhibits, zip lines, levee slide, water slides and more. The celebration will take place all afternoon with family activities, tubing and water shows plus live music from Texas Country artist Gary P. Nunn and high-energy cover band Party Machine.

“As a presenting sponsor, the Tarrant Regional Water District is proud to be able to provide a free family festival that is available to our entire city,” said TRWD Board President Vic Henderson. “It is a pleasure to see the entire community come together to celebrate our nation’s independence.”

Food, soda, water and beer will be available for purchase on site. Two TRWD Hydration Stations will also be on site providing free water for all festival patrons. Gates open at 2 p.m., live music will be from 6 to 9:30 p.m. and the largest July 4th fireworks show will begin at approximately 10 p.m.
