TRWD staff continues to monitor conditions in the TRWD reservoir watersheds 24 hours a day. National Weather Service (NWS) forecasts are indicating a break from the rain until next Wednesday. All TRWD reservoirs that are above conservation are discharging and being returned to conservation level. With that said, this will be the final post for this event. If conditions warrant updates will resume with next week’s rain.
Reservoir Projections
- Bridgeport – Rising but expected to fall a few inches short of completely filling.
- Eagle Mountain – Discharges were increased late yesterday afternoon. Expect discharges to continue through the weekend as pool is being returned to conservation level.
- Lake Worth – Eagle Mountain discharges will keep the Lake Worth pool around the 594.7 to 594.9 ft-msl range until discharges are reduced.
- Cedar Creek and Richland-Chambers – Discharges will continue as the pools are being returned to conservation level.
Please note that reservoir projections are barring additional rainfall and subject to change. TRWD reservoir operations are based on observed rainfall conditions. Additional updates will be provided here if conditions dictate. Please check back.
