TRWD staff continues to monitor conditions in the TRWD reservoir watersheds 24 hours a day. The latest National Weather Service (NWS) guidance is shown below in Graphic-1. Rainfall is expected to continue off and on through Tuesday evening, with depths of 2-5″ expected.
River levels continue to rise at Jacksboro and Boyd. The NWS River Forecast Center has issued forecasts for both of these sites. Use the linked names above to follow the latest at these sites.
In the Richland-Chambers area, river forecasts have been issued for the Trinity River at Trinidad and Chambers Creek near Rice. Use the links to access the latest forecast information for these sites.
The latest reservoir projections follow: Eagle Mountain filled today, and is currently just above conservation. Discharges totaling approximately 690 cfs were begun from Eagle Mountain today around 6:15 PM. Richland-Chambers continues to rise and is expected to fill by midday tomorrow. Lake Worth is still about 6″ below full, and is projected to fill tomorrow with the discharges from Eagle Mountain. Bridgeport and Cedar Creek continue to rise but are not projected to fill at this time.
