TRWD continues to monitor reservoir conditions 24 hours a day. Yesterday’s rainfall was focused mainly in the Cedar Creek/Richland-Chambers area and areas to the east. See Graphic-1 for 24-hour rainfall totals. Today and Friday are expected to be cool and rain free. Next rain chance comes late Saturday night into Sunday. The latest National Weather Service (NWS) guidance, Graphic-2, is calling for a chance of snow. Continue to follow the NWS as this event draws closer.
Cedar Creek and Richland-Chambers continue to discharge flood waters to bring the pools back to conservation. See the table below for current discharge rates. Updates to lake status and flood discharges will be posted here.
Please be advised that forecasts and projections are subject to change, and TRWD reservoir operations are based on observed rainfall conditions. Updates to this blog will be made periodically as warranted.
