TRWD continues to monitor reservoir conditions 24 hours a day. Current reservoir conditions are provided below. Currently, Eagle Mountain and Richland-Chambers are making flood discharges. Due to heavy overnight rainfall, discharges from Eagle Mountain Lake are being increased to 5,200 cfs this morning. Barring additional rainfall, this discharge is expected to raise the Lake Worth pool to an elevation of 595.6 to 595.7. Any additional updates to flood discharges will be posted here.
Overnight rainfall totals are shown in Graphic-1 below. Once again the area between Boyd and Eagle Mountain Lake received heavy rainfall. National Weather Service (NWS)) is forecasting spotty showers for today and tomorrow, with the next round of potentially heavy rain expected Tuesday night (see Graphic-2). Please continue to follow the NWS and the River Forecast Center (RFC) for the latest information regarding the weather and river conditions, respectively.
