Every spring, TRWD puts on a cleanup event for the community of Eagle Mountain Lake to kick the litter out of the parks and the lake. The cleanup is driven by the community and made for the community, not just the lake itself. We encourage the people that we serve in the Eagle Mountain Lake area to help us in keeping the environment clean and safe for years to come. This March, we will be celebrating 28 years of keeping Eagle Mountain clean.

Outside of educating the community and encouraging its members to protect the environment, we have a large responsibility to the lake itself to protect the watershed and implement systems to keep water quality at a very high level.

The cleanup event helps us clear the areas of trash that will eventually find their way into the lake. Protecting the lake and the waterways is something we are very proud to share with the community of Eagle Mountain. Learn more about TRWD’s social responsibility plan.
