- Heavy rain in the Richland-Chambers (RC) and Cedar Creek (CC) watersheds last night, 2.76″ was recorded in 3-hours at the RC gage.
- Flood discharges are ongoing at Eagle Mountain (EM), Richland-Chambers and Cedar Creek.
Projections
- Lake Bridgeport (BP)
- The Jacksboro gage peaked just over 2000 cfs yesterday; additional rainfall will add volume to the recession limb and eventually to BP!
- Bridgeport will continue to rise the next few days.
- Projections are showing it could reach and surpass 827 ft-msl tomorrow.
- Eagle Mountain Lake
- Inflows are dropping and discharges are being reduced accordingly.
- Barring additional rainfall, expect pool levels to remain fairly constant today.
- Cedar Creek Reservoir
- Inflows should be around 10,000 cfs for most of the day.
- Barring additional rainfall, expect pool levels to remain fairly constant today.
- Richland-Chambers Reservoir
- The pool has crested but inflow is expected to be in the 15,000 cfs range most of today.
- Barring additional rainfall, expect pool levels to remain fairly constant today.

Looking Forward
Storms with a severe weather component are possible this afternoon and evening. See the latest NWS Guidance in Graphic-2. After today, north Texas is expected to see a much-needed dry stretch, at least through the weekend. TRWD staff will continue to monitor conditions and flood discharges will be adjusted accordingly.
