TRWD welcomes comments on future of LaGrave Field

TRWD’s Board of Directors welcomes comments from the public regarding the future of LaGrave Field on Panther Island.

“At the June board meeting, the Board of Directors will consider the demolition of the existing LaGrave structure,” said TRWD Board President Leah King. “The Board welcomes public comments on the potential demolition of the structure, ideas for interim recreational uses of the site prior to future development, and preserving aspects of the field to honor the history of baseball in Fort Worth.

The public can make comments on TRWD’s website at www.trwd.com/contact. All comments submitted before the Board’s next meeting on June 18 will be considered.

*Conservation Level: The permitted level of water an entity is allowed to hold in a lake. Any amount above the conservation level is used for the temporary storage of flood waters and must be released downstream.
