TRWD will host three litter cleanups this fall aimed at removing trash and debris from the areas surrounding the Trinity River in Fort Worth, as well as Eagle Mountain Lake and Cobb Park.
The Trinity River Trash Bash, will be held on Saturday, September 16th and feature nine cleanup locations along the Clear and West Forks of the river throughout Fort Worth. Prior to the event, volunteers will be provided trash bags and gloves in order to safely collect the trash. Trinity River Trash Bash is sponsored by Gold Sponsor HDR Engineering.
Participants can pick up trash anytime between 8 to 10 a.m. and then attend the Trinity Trash Bash Volunteer After-Party from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Coyote Drive-In, located at 223 NE Fourth Street, Fort Worth 76164.
The Eagle Mountain Trash Bash will be held on September 9 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Participants at Eagle Mountain will also be provided gloves and trash bags, and be treated to an after-party at Twin Points Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Eagle Mountain Trash Bash is sponsored by Platinum Sponsor 95.9 The Ranch/92.1 Hank FM.
The Cobb Park Trash Bash will also take place in Fort Worth on Sept. 16 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. with an after-party scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 2700 Cobb Park Dr W, Fort Worth, TX 76105. This event is sponsored by Platinum Sponsor Molson Coors.
