Reservoir Monitoring Update

By April 21, 2023

Bottom Line: The expected heavy rainfall did not materialize in the TRWD lakes. There is still potential for heavy rain early next week and TRWD staff will be watching closely.  Heavy rainfall could produce enough runoff to require spillway operations if lake levels exceed conservation level (CC = 322.0 feet-msl and RC = 315.0 feet-msl).

Graphic-1 below shows the 24-Hour Rainfall Accumulation map for the TRWD service area.

Graphic-2 shows guidance on heavy rainfall potential for early next week. There is also severe weather potential associated with the upcoming storms; hail and wind are the most likely modes.
